Evolution Trials Explained

TatariHub · Published 10 Aug 2026 · Updated 19 Aug 2026 · Version 1.0

Stars unlock the trial. The trial unlocks the form. Feed caps and dupe math decide how fast a line actually moves.

Tataris do not randomly evolve anymore. Each form gate is:

  • **Stars / copies** so the trial button appears.
  • **A specific trial** — kill count, stage clear, feed count, or extra copies.
  • **The next form**, which also upgrades the skill.
  • Blue vs purple

Common (blue) lines usually stop at T2. Rare (purple) lines go T3 and often T4. Zapup is the exception with a guaranteed early evolve.

    Frostnip example

  • T1 Frostnip → T2 Frostpaw at 3 bronze stars after 300 Zobo kills.
  • T2 → T3 Frostique at 6 bronze stars, 3 feeds, and Chapter 8 Stage 80.
  • T3 → T4 Frostluna at 6 silver moons.
  • Feeding

You can feed 15 times per day. Some T3 trials require feed stages, so a stalled purple is often a food problem, not a copy problem. Save Glitter Fruit for purple cores; blues cannot use it.

    Planning

Open the Evolution page, filter to the line you are actually building, and treat the trial text as a checklist — not flavor.
